a film by Orin Portnoy
Birds of a feather was shot on a 8mm Double 8 camera and then transferred using a 16mm projector loaded onto a Mac G3 computer and cut on Final cut pro. The final product is on MiniDV and runs 2 1/2 minutes.
Music was produced with a MOOG Theremin and reordered on the same Mac using Digi 001 Protools.
The film is an experiment in modern day torture in the hopes that the viewer will "never be the same". It is not for the weak of mind.
Shot in the Arizona desert at one of the largest Ostrich Petting farms in the world.
